Although it was fairly small, Marshall and Cheryl's wedding was pretty nice. They had a short ceremony and an afternoon reception right after the wedding. Unfortunately the weather for that day was disgustingly hot, where just standing around would make you sweat. :P We were treated to some hors d'oeuvres, some champagne and beer, and wedding cake. The funny thing was that you could really tell how different the two sides of the family were. Cheryl's family and friends were mostly Asian and came very well-dressed, while Marshall's side were mostly Caucasian and were dressed much more casually. Mingling was also kept at a minimum, where all the 'Chinese' people were on one side and the 'white' people on the other--kind of like how boys & girls would stand separately at a junior high school dance. :)
