Proverbs 12:17-19

"A truthful witness gives honest testimony,

i realized how insensitive i was recently towards a good friend. instead of being encouraging, i was critical. instead of praising them for the job and effort they had given, i chose to pick on the mistakes. at the time, i thought i was being honest and upfront, but i should have been much more tactful. however, i now recognize that i probably discouraged the person in their situation and caused some hurt. dumb. i should have been much more supportive and appreciative. anyway, i'm truly sorry and i hope i've learned my lesson...(what else is new?) :)
