Thunder Bay this weekend...

Nicole and I will be visiting Tim up in Thunder Bay from July 1-4. Tim is doing an internship for his Speech Language Pathology program, so we going to venture up to northwestern Ontario to pay him a visit. Good idea? We'll see.

By the grace of God, everything has fallen into place perfectly. For the last couple of weeks, I was debating as to whether or not to go visit. I wanted to go up, but there were a number of factors causing me to think otherwise. We were thinking about driving, but that would have been pretty crazy. It would have taken us about 20 hours, and the cost of renting a car and paying for gas wouldn't have been so cheap either. Plus, we'd be pretty exhausted by the time we actually made it there.

Coincidentally, within the last week I had been getting a little flustered with stuff, so I was actually looking for a break. It just seemed like the perfect time to get away and forget about everything for a weekend. :) Anyway, God definitely provided 'cause there just happened to be a seat sale at Air Canada the weekend of our trip. In the end, it only cost me $205 to fly back and forth! That's super cheap! Interestingly, even when I was booking the flights online, God seemed to be working mysteriously. The flight back to Toronto on Sunday night was sold out and I wasn't too thrilled about having to wake up at 5 AM to come back and go straight to work. So I decided to say a quick prayer and reload one last time. And the rest as they say is history... I was so happy that everything has worked out amazingly. We are able to hang out longer with Tim and we'll be pretty refreshed and enrgized in that we only have to sit through a short 1hr45min flight. God really provides...
