CN Tower Climb for the United Way

Woke up bright and early this morning at 5:45 AM to do the CN Tower Climb. It wasn't super tough, but it was still a fun challenge. I managed to make it up in a somewhat respectable 23m04s. Not bad for the first time, I guess. I want to break 20mins next time! Definitely can't compare to Andrew, who made it up in just over 16mins. Anyway, I just want to especially thank everyone who sponsored me and supported the United Way. I was swept away by everyone's generosity and I was able to raise $325! THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!

If you'd like, you may still sponsor me and contribute more to the United Way campaign by clicking here.

World Press Photo 04 Exhibition

This afternoon, I went down to BCE Place to check out the World Press Photo 04 Exhibition with Andrew and Tim. It’s a presentation of events/happenings over the last year (2003). They were simply powerful and stunning. It’s amazing how pictures can really capture so many emotions and tell joyful, yet often sad stories. Obviously, one of the most captivating events was the war of Iraq. Seeing those pictures really hit home how much tragedy, violence & injustice there is out there. It made me quite sad and angry...

Unfortunately, the exhibition is now over. If you get a chance next year, it's definitely worth your while to check it out...

Here is the winning photo:
